Free Telehealth Breastfeeding Support from our Lactation Consultant (IBCLC’s) team is available to pregnant and postnatal women with babies up to 6 weeks of age, living in the WACHS residential catchment zones and with Medicare cover. 

They are developing a statewide directory of breastfeeding support services with the goal of improving breastfeeding success for families across rural and remote WA. If you know someone who should be includeded on the list (think, GP’s Paediatricians, Speech Pathologists, Physio’s, Midwives, LC’s, dentists etc) please email Wachslactationsupportservice@health.wa.gov.au .

We accept referrals form health professionals and client self-referrals and have attached the QR code on the posters which takes you straight to the referral form. We also accept referrals through E- Referral and have attached the quick reference guide for your members.
